With my self-portrait out of the kiln, I've started staining my piece. My skin is a brown tone right now, I was trying to go for a mountainous look somewhat because I am trying to emulate a volcano look right now. I'm going to stain my hair and eyebrows a red, and then I''ll go over it with a shiny clear glaze to get a lava look. I'm also working on two other projects, one is of a melting naked female torso, headless and armless right now. I'm not sure if I'm going to continue working on it or not right now. It's really small right now, so if I did decide to continue working on it, I'd make it a bit bigger. The last project I'm working on presently is a teapot. I used coils to build the round, ovalish shape of the teapot's body. I'm planning on carving, or attaching leaves all around it, I have not completely thought out the whole design of the handle and the spout so we'll just see how that goes I suppose.
